Currently I am working as a Resident in Neurology at University of Connecticut, Hartford Hospital & Uconn Health Center, Hartford (June 2005-Current).

Before coming to Hartford, I finished Internship in Internal Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Surgery Preliminary at University Medical Center, University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas, Nevada.

I worked as a Research Fellow in Angiogenesis Research Center, Department of Cardiology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School), Boston for two years from Aug 2000 to June 2002.  Basically my career started in India where I was born and raised.   I received M.B.B.S degree in 1987 and M.D (Venereology) in 1993 from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India. I also received 10th National Conference of IADV&L (Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists) Gold Medal for outstanding performance in MD Examination from University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1993. During my M.D. Subspecialty training, I got an excellent opportunity to work on The Study of STDs and HIV/AIDS in Eunuchs.

Later, I worked in few organizations and hospitals of national importance in India such as Ordnance Factory Hospital (Ministry of Defense, Medak) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization, Sriharikota).  I obtained western clinical experience when I was working as a Clinical Medical Officer with Government Polyclinic (Ministry of Health) in Barbados, Caribbean Island.

In 1999, I immigrated to USA as a Permanent Resident to pursue further medical career.  I got an opportunity to attend Department of Cardiology as a Clinical Observer in Veterans Affairs Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.  Later I came to Angiogenesis Research Center, Department of Cardiology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School), Boston.  I conducted few clinical trials which mainly focused on cutting edge treatment strategies to regenerate new blood vessels in myocardial ischemic regions (Therapeutic Angiogenesis) of Coronary artery disease patients and peripheral limb ischemic regions of Peripheral vascular occlusive disease patients.  My clinical interests are pain medication, geriatrics, infectious diseases, and cardiovascular problems.
